Horse Echo
Horse Echo selects a bright range from motion footage, colors it, and advects the result through retained history to create flowing trails.
Replaceable sources
Section titled “Replaceable sources”Replace Horse footage with a video, image, image sequence, or camera. Motion with a clear subject against a different background gives the range selection something useful to isolate.
Useful controls
Section titled “Useful controls”- Trail drift changes the direction and speed of advection.
- Trail retention changes how long history survives.
- Source selection moves the brightness range used to inject the live picture.
- Highlight bloom controls the finishing glow.
Set Source selection until the subject appears cleanly, then increase Trail retention. Use Trail drift last to shape the flow. If old imagery becomes stuck after a source change, use the Advect card’s Clear control to reset retained history.
Add it to another project
Section titled “Add it to another project”Import the complete Horse Echo layer and map Horse footage to your destination visual input. The advection field and retained state belong to the layer. See Add reusable layers.
Understand the graph
Section titled “Understand the graph”Range Select isolates part of the source, Gradient Map colors it, and Advect mixes it into transformed history before chromatic separation and glow. Read Feedback for Previous Frame, source injection, retention, and Clear.
