Kaleido Cam
Kaleido Cam turns a live or recorded picture into a crisp repeating kaleidoscope with a restrained color split.
Replaceable sources
Section titled “Replaceable sources”Replace Demo visual — replace source with a camera, video, image sequence, or image. A camera is useful for performance; a short looping clip gives repeatable motion for editing.
Useful controls
Section titled “Useful controls”- Mirrors changes the kaleidoscope segment count.
- Rotation turns the radial fold without rotating your original source first.
- Colour split separates channels around high-contrast edges.
Use a low mirror count while framing the camera, then increase it for density. Keep Colour split near zero for clean geometry or raise it when the source has strong edges.
Add it to another project
Section titled “Add it to another project”Select the reusable Kaleido Cam layer in Add layers. Under Connect sources, map its tap to one of your visual layers or explicitly choose Include original source. No demonstration footage is copied silently. See Add reusable layers.
Understand the graph
