Rings

Rings generates concentric bands with no external source. Gradient creates the distance field, Range Select isolates repeating bands, and Gradient Map colours the result.

Replaceable sources

None. The layer remains usable offline.

Useful controls

  • Ring count changes the number of visible bands.
  • Ring width changes their thickness.
  • Travel speed pushes the bands inward or outward.
  • Palette offset and Colour contrast tune colour distribution.
  • Background colour and Pattern colour set the endpoints.

Add it to another project

Select the reusable Rings layer in Add layers. No source mapping is needed.

Understand the graph

Gradient supplies radial distance, Range Select repeats a selected interval, and Gradient Map supplies colour. Read Layers and the stack for combining it with other material.
