Stripes
Stripes is a source-free generator for backgrounds, masks, and rhythmic motion. A Pattern card creates the field and Gradient Map turns its values into a two-colour look.
Replaceable sources
Section titled “Replaceable sources”None. The image is generated inside the layer, so it also works offline.
Useful controls
Section titled “Useful controls”- Spacing / frequency sets the number of repeating bands.
- Width changes the filled portion of each band.
- Angle rotates the pattern.
- Motion speed moves it through the frame.
- Palette offset and Colour contrast shape the mapping.
- Background colour and Pattern colour set the two endpoints.
Set spacing and width first, then add motion. Use Palette offset for travel through the colours without changing the geometry.
Add it to another project
Section titled “Add it to another project”In Add layers, select the reusable Stripes layer. It has no source dependency to connect. The Pattern, Gradient Map, controls, and bindings arrive together.
Understand the graph
Section titled “Understand the graph”Pattern produces a repeating value field; Gradient Map colours it. Read Layers and the stack for how to place the generator behind or above other layers.
